Virtual Assistant Support: Frequently Asked Questions
-
A virtual assistant handles agreed business tasks remotely. At Flourish, that may include inbox and calendar management, client communication, scheduling, data entry, invoicing admin and organising the processes you use every week. The exact mix depends on your business and the hours we agree on.
-
Flourish can support your business with email organisation, appointment scheduling, client onboarding, everyday Xero bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, invoicing, debtor follow-up, data entry and social media scheduling. Support is tailored to your priorities, so we can focus on the tasks that will create the most time, organisation and breathing room in your business.
-
We begin with a Connection Call, then agree on your monthly hours, tasks and preferred way of communicating. I’ll learn the tools and processes needed for my work and keep you informed about what is moving and what needs your decision. We can review priorities as your business changes.
-
Yes. Flourish Business Support is based in Wagga and supports women-led small businesses throughout Australia. As services are delivered remotely, we can work together wherever your business is located.
-
You do not need to decide alone. Bloom offers 10 hours a month, Thrive 20 and Flourish 30. On a free Connection Call, we’ll discuss what you would like to delegate and which level is realistic for that work.
-
My social media support focuses on organising, formatting and scheduling content you supply. We can discuss planning, captions and monitoring as part of an agreed package. If you need original photography or video production, that would need a different specialist.
-
No. If your inbox, files or client steps feel messy, that is something we can talk through. We can start with the tasks that need attention and put clearer processes around them as we work together.
-
We can plan support for agreed admin and client communication while you take a holiday, maternity leave or step back for another reason. Before you go, we’ll decide what I can handle, what needs approval, who else is involved and how you would like updates. I can keep those agreed tasks moving, but the arrangement will depend on your business and the hours available.
-
Potentially, yes. We can talk about the enquiries, bookings, client processes and accounts admin that need coverage, how you want to receive updates and which decisions still need you or another team member. We would plan the scope together well before your leave.
-
Yes. As a Xero accredited professional, I can help with everyday bookkeeping tasks including bank reconciliations, transaction allocations based on agreed rules, invoicing, debtor follow-up and straightforward reporting.
I don’t provide tax advice or independently prepare or lodge Business Activity Statements. Where a task requires registered BAS or tax services, I can work from the instructions of you or your registered BAS or tax agent.
